LNG News

A review and update to the G-29 LNG Short Course has been completed. The now 5 day class includes the latest developments in technology and in the business world. The extended class format has been held in Kuala Lumpur, London, Doha, Perth and Orlando and was positively received.

Changes to the course include the addition of a specific section on storage; and the liquefaction section has been extended to include more small scale technologies which are being considered for off-shore LNG options. These options have had an increase of interest for the past two years.

In 2009, the G-29 LNG Short Course is scheduled in Kuala Lumpur, London and Houston.

As with many of the PetroSkills/Campbell courses, this course is available on an in-house basis. In-house courses are flexible in length and content can be adjusted to suit individual needs. For example, the course was used to help train the staff of a company involved in the small scale LNG business, where LNG is produced as a fuel for transportation.
