Oil and Gas Facilities training

Three courses in Tunapuna added to schedule in August

JMC has added three courses to our August schedule. The classes will be held in Tunapuna at the University of Trinidad and Tobago Pasea Campus.

IC-3 Instrumentation and Controls Fundamentals of Facilities Personnel is offered Aug. 4-8. The class is a good introductory course for new hire instrument engineers as it provides an awareness of instrument principles and equipment used in oil and gas processing facilities.

The following week, Aug. 11-15, E-4 Electrical Engineering Practices for Facilities Personnel has been scheduled. This course is extremely helpful to those who require application of electrical principles and equipment to perform his/her primary responsibilities.

And the SC-41 Contracts and Tenders Fundamentals class is offered Aug. 18-22. This class is for individuals involved in contracting for goods and services in the energy industry that have little formal training, but need a better understanding of the evolving best practices found in major oil companies.

All classes are open for registration.

Located off the coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago is known for its petroleum and petrochemicals industry. UTT offers certificates in Process & Utilities Engineering Technology and diplomas and degrees in engineering. It is a logical partner for JMC classes, as well as being a member of the PetroSkills Alliance.
